1. Scope
These Terms & Conditions apply to the use of this website and to cargo-related information, enquiries, tracking functions, and services provided by Bilis Cargo. Specific shipment documents, quotations, service confirmations, or written agreements may contain additional terms applicable to a particular shipment.
2. Cargo Acceptance
Cargo is accepted subject to route availability, capacity, documentation, packaging, safety requirements, and applicable laws and regulations. We may decline cargo that cannot be safely or lawfully handled or transported.
3. Customer Responsibilities
Customers must provide complete and accurate shipment information, including cargo description, quantity, dimensions, weight, destination details, and any information required for safe handling or regulatory compliance. The customer is responsible for ensuring that the person tendering cargo is authorized to do so.
4. Packaging and Marking
Cargo must be packed, secured, and marked appropriately for the intended mode of transport and normal handling conditions. Fragile, high-value, temperature-sensitive, or special-handling cargo should be clearly identified before acceptance.
5. Prohibited and Restricted Cargo
Illegal, dangerous, restricted, undeclared, or improperly documented goods will not be accepted. Certain cargo may require permits, declarations, special packaging, or prior approval before transport.
6. Rates and Charges
Freight charges, handling fees, delivery charges, storage charges, and other applicable costs are based on the service arrangement confirmed for the shipment. Additional charges may apply when shipment details differ from the information originally provided or when extra handling, storage, redelivery, or special services are required.
7. Transit and Delivery
Transit and delivery schedules are estimates unless expressly confirmed otherwise. Actual movement may be affected by vessel schedules, port congestion, weather, road conditions, regulatory controls, equipment availability, holidays, or other operational circumstances.
8. Shipment Tracking
Tracking information is provided to help customers follow shipment progress. Status updates may depend on operational events and data received from connected systems, and may not always appear immediately after a shipment movement occurs.
9. Cargo Release and Delivery
Cargo may be released or delivered only to the authorized consignee or representative and may be subject to identity verification, payment clearance, required documentation, and other applicable release procedures.
10. Claims, Loss, and Damage
Any visible shortage or damage should be reported as soon as reasonably possible and supported by relevant shipment documents, photographs, receipts, or other evidence. Responsibility and any applicable liability will be determined in accordance with the shipment agreement and applicable law.
11. Force Majeure and Operational Disruption
We are not responsible for delays or service interruptions caused by events beyond reasonable operational control, including severe weather, natural disasters, port closures, government restrictions, labor disruptions, infrastructure failures, or other extraordinary events.
12. Website Use
Users must not attempt unauthorized access, interfere with website operation, misuse shipment tracking, submit malicious content, or use this website for unlawful purposes. We may restrict access when necessary to protect the website, our systems, or other users.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions when our services, operational requirements, or legal obligations change. The version published on this website will apply from its effective date.
14. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the applicable laws of the Republic of the Philippines, subject to any specific contractual terms agreed for a shipment.
